Police Department - Emergency Preparedness

The Campbell Police Department manages the City's Emergency Services Program and provides planning, training, and coordination of City personnel for an effective response to natural, technological, and human-caused disasters. The Manager of the Emergency Services Program reviews and updates the City's Emergency Plan, maintains the City's Emergency Operations Center (EOC), is active in the Santa Clara County Emergency Managers Association (EMA), and serves as staff to the City's representative on the Santa Clara County Emergency Planning Committee (EPC). Community Notification System - High-Speed Emergency Telephone Notification System

The City of Campbell successfully tested the CodeRed Emergency Notification System. 
CodeRED® is a telephone notification system that can dial tens of thousands of telephone numbers in an hour and deliver a recorded message. The City of Campbell is encouraging residents to update their information and also provide an alternative telephone number via our CodeRed Residential Update page.

Pandemic Flu Preparedness

Pandemic Flu is virulent human flu that causes a global outbreak, known as a pandemic. Because there is little natural immunity, the disease can spread easily from person to person. Currently, there are no outbreaks of pandemic flu in the world.

Because of the potential for a pandemic flu, the City of Campbell and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department want you to know more about this possible health threat.
