The Campbell City Council has approved funding for park improvements. The Public Works Department is in the beginning stage of design and outreach for a new playground area (ages 5-12) to be located at the Campbell Community Center by the existing sports fields.
The project was presented and approved by both the Parks and Recreation Commission (November 2, 2016) and City Council (December 6, 2016).
The City of Campbell issued a Request for Proposals and a total of ten proposals were received, reviewed and ranked. The top three firms were interviewed and SSA Landscape Architects of Santa Cruz was selected as the top design firm. The project is currently in the preliminary design phase.
Please contact the Publics Work department at the addresses below with any questions or concerns.
