The Grasshoppers camp is for children ages six and seven and provides a fun, safe, action-packed outdoor day camp experience in a park setting. This camp introduces creative exploration and performance arts activities. This camp does not go on a field trip.

Activities This program is held at John D. Morgan Park (on the Rincon Avenue side) and is suitable for young children who will stay with a group and can follow camp leaders’ directions. Activities will include group games, art, storytelling, water activities, camp singing, and other age-appropriate activities.
Grasshoppers will also enjoy a special event activity every Wednesday at the park ranging from fun jumps, magic shows, petting zoos, and pony rides. Each week, a book or song theme will set the stage for the arts and activities. A weekly schedule will be handed out on Mondays listing the specific activities for that week.
Parents are invited to the all-camp sing-a-long on Fridays at 12:15 pm in the amphitheater on the Rincon Avenue side of John D. Morgan Park.
Cost: $155 per week for residents / $165 per week for non-residents
Wear Day Camp T-shirt (handed out on Mondays), play clothes, and tennis shoes for safety.
Wear bathing suits under clothes on water activity days.
Bring a sack lunch with a drink each day.
Apply sunscreen before drop-off.
Parents: make sure your Active account has accurate contact information for parent/guardians and emergency contacts. This will be used by the Camp Leaders if they need to get in touch with you.
Registration Summer camp registration begins on Tuesday, March 22 at 8:00 am for Campbell residents. Open registration begins on Wednesday, March 23 at 8:00 am. Registration is accepted online, walk-in, or by fax.
