State of the City

2017 State of the City
On September 28, 2017, Mayor Elizabeth "Liz" Gibbons delivered the annual State of the City address at the Heritage Theater.   Many members of community service groups, philanthropic foundations, elected leaders throughout the County, and members of the City boards and commissions were in attendance.   The address highlighted Campbell's Past, Present, and Future.   Though the City has changed much since its agricultural roots, the spirit of the community and its determination to maintain a City focused on its citizens remains.   The address featured a video presentation focusing on such history and pride.   Please visit the following link to view archived video of the the State of the city via the following link:

2016 State of the City


On September 22, 2016, Mayor Jason Baker delivered the State of the City address to members of the public, local elected officials, and City staff at the Campbell Community Center. The Mayor's presentation featured discussion of the City’s fiscal health, developments and capital improvement projects, policies and initiatives, community outreach and the General Plan Update.   Video of the Mayor’s State of the City address is available online via the following link:

2015 State of the City


On May 20, 2015, Mayor Jeff Cristina delivered his State of the City address to members of the public, local elected officials, and City staff at the Campbell Villa Ragusa Ballroom. The Mayor's presentation began with a brief overview of Campbell's rich history, and proceeded with a discussion of the City’s fiscal health, as well as public improvement projects and private developments. 2014 State of the City


On May 14, 2014, Mayor Richard Waterman delivered his State of the City address to over two-hundred members of the public at Campbell Community Center's Orchard City Banquet Hall. The Mayor's presentation began with a brief overview of Campbell's rich history, challenges, and current economic state. Community involvement was a strong point of emphasis during the event, which was broadcast live on cable channel 26 and available online via the following link:

2013 State of the City


Mayor Evan Low presented an update on city projects and programs and call to action for community building on May 22nd. 2012 State of the City


As part of the Campbell Chamber of Commerce’s monthly business luncheon, Mayor Mike Kotowski presented his “State of the City” on Wednesday, June 20th, at Orchard City Banquet Hall, Campbell Community Center. Members of both the public and business community attended to watch the mayor's presentation. The event was televised live on Comcast channel 26 and AT&T U-verse channel 99 as well as the Internet.
